BRIEF HISTORY

Unadilla has been producing motocross events since 1969, long before motocross gained the foothold it has today. During the late 1970's and continuing through the early 1990's it was home to the 250cc United States Grand Prix and saw four world champions crowned at event's end. 2005 began a new tradition at Unadilla with the addition of both the AMA ATV Motocross Championship and the Grand National Cross Country series. The AMA ATV Motocross Championship is run on the Pro track at Unadilla... a track that features all natural jumps, hills, sweeper turns, and fast straight aways. We look forward to welcoming you back to Unadilla 2009.

WHERE TO STAY

AIRPORT

• Albany and Syracuse Airports: Use NYS Thruway to exit #31, Utica. Follow signs  for Route #8 SOUTH. 90 minutes to track.
  
• Binghamton Airport: Take Route #17 east to Rt. 81 North to I-88 entrance. Exit at #9-Sidney and take Route #8 NORTH. 90 minutes to track.

Directions: Leave track and take Route #8 south to New Berlin. At traffic light, turn right. Take County Route #320 (turns into Rt. #29) to the end, approximately 15 minutes. Turn left at end onto Route #12 south. Chenango Memorial is about ½ mile on your right.

Directions: Take Route #8 south from racetrack about one mile. Turn left and go 4 miles to Edmeston. At stop sign, go straight onto Route #80. Follow Route #80 about 20 minutes through the small towns of West Burlington and Burlington Green. Route #80 ends at the bottom of a large hill. Turn right onto Route #28 and follow it to Cooperstown. At the stop sign (end of the road) in Cooperstown, turn right on Chestnut St. Go about 4/10 of a mile and turn left onto Beaver St. just before the Cooperstown Motel. Continue on this street to the hospital, which is on your right about 1½  miles. You will need to turn right onto Atwell Road. The parking lot is on your left. The emergency room is on the back side of the hospital.

Directions: Take Route #8 north to Utica. Route #8 becomes an expressway just south of Utica. Exit at "Genesee St-New Hartford". Turn right at bottom of ramp. St. Elizabeth's is 1.2 miles on your right.

Directions: Take Route #8 north to Utica. Route #8 becomes an expressway just south of Utica. Watch for sign "Route #8 North, NY State Thruway" and take this exit. Continue about 1½  miles to the Faxton Hospital exit. Faxton Hospital is on the left about ¼ mile.

Directions: Take Route #8 north to Utica. Route #8 becomes an expressway just south of Utica. Watch for sign "Route #8 North, NY State Thruway" and take this exit. Continue about 1½ miles to the French Road/St. Luke's exit. Go to light (Home Depot is in front of you) and turn right onto French Road. St. Luke's is about ¾ mile on the left.

Directions: Take Route #8 north to Utica. Route #8 becomes an expressway just south of Utica. Watch for sign "Route #8 North, NY State Thruway" and take this exit. Continue about 4 miles to the "New York State Thruway" exit. You will drive about 1½ miles to get to the Thruway entrance. Take the Thruway west to Syracuse. Exit at the "Route 81" exit. Go south on Route #81 about 4 miles. Exit at "Harrison/Adams St.". As you come down the ramp, stay left. You will drive under Route #81 for about 2 blocks. At the end, turn left onto East Adams St. This is a one-way street. The hospital is on your right about 100 feet. Parking garage and parking lot are on your left just before the hospital.

Directions: Take Route #8 south 30 minutes to Sidney. Get on I-88 west in the direction of Binghamton. Continue to the end and pick-up Rt. #81 south. Exit onto Rt. #17 west (about 1 mile). Take Rt. #17 to exit #61 (about 38 miles). Turn right on Rt. #34. Continue on Spring St. Bear right on Mohawk St. Turn left on North Elmer Ave. Bear right on South Elmer Ave. Turn right on Guthrie Square.

THINGS TO DO

Unadilla is located 30 minutes from the Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta and 45 minutes from the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Cooperstown is also home to several museums and family attractions.  There are several day trip drives to the Adirondack Mountains or the Finger Lakes (Great wine trail drives!). The Turning Stone Casino is under an hour and boasts a world class golf course. Several private golf courses are in the area (four are under twenty minutes from the track). The Madison-Bouckville Antique community is an easy thirty minute drive from the track.
