Memphis TN- The Parts Plus Top Fuel Team with Championship driver Clay Millican, are headed to Indianapolis, IN for The 57th annual US Nationals. With over 900 competitors attending in 12 different categories The Parts Plus Top Fuel Team will descend on Lucas Oil Raceway for the biggest, oldest and most prestigious drag race in the world.
Along with the prestige and history that comes with The 57th US Nationals, it is also the final event for all Full Throttle teams to earn points toward making the "Countdown" for the six-race Full Throttle Championship which will begin inCharlotte the weekend of September 16-18.
"The Parts Plus Top Fuel Team is prepared for the biggest race of the year," says Millican. "I'm ready for the Granddaddy of them all, The US Nationals which is the oldest and biggest event of the season."
"This event has so much history it would be hard to even write a book and include all the history that has been made inIndianapolis."
The US Nationals brings racers from all over the world to converge in Indianapolis, IN and Lucas Oil Raceway Park. "For some teams just being at the US Nationals is enough to make your year," says Millican. But not for The Parts Plus Top Fuel Team, it isn't just about being in Indianapolis. "Our team has been together for a long time. The group knows how to win and The US Nationals is a good place to continue our winning ways."
Along with the many fans attending this weekend's event, the Parts Plus Top Fuel Team will also be welcoming local members and customers from Hoffman, Smyth and United.
