Bowling Green, KY - April 20, 2010 - Suzuki riders topped the podium yet again this weekend, this time at Ballance Moto X in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Josh Creamer piloted his QuadRacer R450 to his first overall win this season, placing second and first in his motos. "My Rockstar Makita Suzuki was running great!" said Creamer. "The track was pretty choppy, but the suspension was working really well, soaking up the bumps and letting me focus on my lines. It always went right where I wanted it to go!"
Josh got off to a fast start in his first moto, with his QuadRacer R450 launching him toward the front of the pack. "I was pretty quick off the line, and came really close to taking the holeshot in that first moto," commented Creamer. He battled with the leader throughout the race, but finished second despite his efforts.
Not satisfied with his second-place finish, Josh rocketed off the line in the second moto, taking the holeshot and checking out for the rest of the race. Creamer's combined scores earned him his first win of the season, and his first win with the Rockstar Makita Suzuki team. Josh's victory earned him valuable points, but Wimmer continues to hold the lead with 88 points to Josh's 84.
Defending champion Dustin Wimmer earned second place overall, finishing 6-3 in his respective motos. "My QuadRacer handled really well out there," said Wimmer. "It had great power and consistency, and I couldn't be more pleased with the bike." Wimmer is looking forward to the next round in Virginia, where he hopes to be back on top of the podium.
The next round of the series takes place at Birch Creek in Danville, Virginia, on May 2.
